A WEDGWOOD MAJOLICA GAME PIE DISH AND COVER

19th century, the cover with twin quail handle, the body with hybrid rabbit, pigeon and fish handles and modelled in relief with game and floral garlands, 14cm high x 25cm wide x 16cm deep, impressed mark 'WEDGWOOD' and date code to base; together with a 19th century Majolica sardine box and cover, with mottled green/brown glaze and modelled with sardine handle and reeds, 12cm high x 20cm wide x 18cm deep (2)

The pie dish is in good overall condition, there is some expected surface wear, a chip to the inner rim. Under blue light there are indistinguishable marks to the finial. The lid of the sardine box, and visible areas are all in very good condition. There are some chips to the lower rim, underside, and inner rim.
