18th century, enamelled en grisaille in the manner of Jacques Fontaine with standing figure of Hermes, against graduated brown background, within richly gilded borders, the coffee can 8cm high x 7.5cm diameter, the saucer decorated with cornucopia, Hermes’ helmet and staff, 3.5cm high x 14.5cm diameter, both with interlaced Sèvres mark (2)
