A GEORGIAN BURMA NO HEAT RUBY AND DIAMOND CLUSTER RING

in silver on 18ct gold, set with a cushion cut ruby of c.1.60 carats, surrounded by a cluster of old mine cut diamonds totalling c.0.30 carats, stamped '18CT', size M / 52, (c.3.5g) verbal confirmation from GCS stating that the ruby is of Burma (Mogok) origin with no indications of treatment

The ring is in good condition with no signs of heavy damage, wear or repair. The ruby is in good condition with only some light abrasions to the table facet edges visible under x10 magnification. The ruby exhibits a bright pinkish red hue. Some natural orientated silk inclusions visible under x10 magnification. All diamonds are present and secure in their settings. Two with 'naturals'. Some tarnish to the silver, commensurate with age. No signs of heavy wear to the band.
