18th century and later (repairs), the iron backplate embossed with gooseherd, the serpentine structure with engraved urn finial firedogs and pierced apron with foliate scrolling, terminating on tapered part-reeded legs, 81.5cm high x 71cm wide x 44cm deep

This lot is in good condition commensurate with age and use.

It is stable and strong

There is a break to the back plate.

The beading around the brass work is absent in places and the metalwork shows evidence of old repairs. The metalwork has black speckles and discolouration
