A GEORGE IV FIGURED MAHOGANY LINEN PRESS

of Classical Revival design, the apex cornice with cornucopia detail, the upper part fitted with five sliding trays enclosed by a pair of panelled doors with spiral-turned columns to the sides, the base fitted with two short and two long drawers on bulbous feet, 235cm high x 130cm wide x 62cm deep

This linen press is quite faded throughout but otherwise appears in good condition commensurate to age and use. 

Repair to one side of the pediment.

Some knocks and marks to the feet.

A faint veneer crack to the pediment. 

A loss to the lower part of one column.

The door and panels are not warped.

In three parts: the base 96cm high, the top 106cm high, the pediment 34cm high.
