ATTRIBUTED TO LIBERTY & CO: AN ARTS AND CRAFTS OAK SIDEBOARD

the shaped rectangular top above an upright gallery back and shelf, below two panelled cupboard doors with copper hinged brackets, raised on turned legs with stretcher, on octagonal feet, 168cm wide x 60cm deep x 136.5cm high

Provenance: Acquired at auction from the Arthur Stewart-Liberty Estate, 1952.

The sideboard is in good overall condition.

There are chips, scratches and knocks to the extremities. 

The top is heavily stained  with cup marks for example

There is not key and there appears to be internal alterations

There are missing rivets to one area of strapwork but this does not affect the stability or aesthetics

One upper corner of top has a missing area of cornice
