The low press appears to be in fair condition. Expected surface wear throughout. The top has several scratches and areas of discolouration. The moulded edge has indentations. The upper portion of the doors have a line of indentations running the width of the item. Several losses throughout the item, in particular to the lower right moulding, and the right-hand door, and lower corners. The brass mount for the keyhole is missing within the right-hand door. Evidence of historic worm.
