Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

The bed appears to be in good overall condition. It bears surface marks throughout commensurate with age. The fabric appears to be in good order. The headboard has a visible vertical line running its length - this may be production. The front two pillars are in fair condition, with some abrasions, minor chips, and discolouration. There is evidence of historic work to the upper internal frame. Wear to the legs due to age and use.

The front two pillars appear to be the only George III element.

Whilst we cannot guarantee that the bed can be dismantled, there are bolts appearing to connect the pillars to the frame. The Geroge III pillars are dowelled in at the top.
