The painting is in fairly good overall condition. The canvas has been restored and relined. There are clear abrasions and markings around the edges of the canvas, perhaps dating from when it was last reframed and/or restretchered. The picture surface is stable, but canvas surface tension is fairly slack. There are also a few small holes towards the top of the canvas. The painting would greatly benefit from being cleaned.
