The painting is in reasonable condition overall. Picture surface is fairly stable. It appears to have been relined, but not recently. Moderate craqurelure throughout, as well as some surface dirt and staining. Rubbing to the edges of the canvas, as well as some warping to the picture surface and a vertical mark to the left of the depicted castle (towards the centre of the canvas). The painting is unsigned.
