This volume is in a poor condition with damage to spine and stains to pages. 

The letters comprise:

one addressed to Mr Gundrie of Bridport from a Mr Brown of Uploders, dated March 18th 1898.

One addressed to Colonel Williams of Bridehead from Mr Gundrie of Bridport, dated March 1895.

Together with an unsigned note dated Yeovil, February 15th '95 written in pencil to the top 'Extract from the John Batten's letter'.
