The painting is unframed and bears some clear signs of wear, including three prominent holes towards the centre left of the composition, as well as another smaller hole towards the right (and another to the lower left). Apart from this, the painting is unframed, the picture surface is stable and, overall, there are few areas of loss. There is some wear around the edges of the canvas.
