There is clear damage and wear to both pictures. The oil on board example bears two small, but prominent, areas of loss to the lower middle of the picture, but is in fairly good condition otherwise.
The oil on canvas example bears a very prominent hole to the middle left of the picture surface. The picture surface is stable and generally presents well separately from this prominent issue. Pleaase see additional images available on request.
