Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

The painting generally presents well. There is a glossy varnish layer, and signs the painting has been restored. There are a few signs of loss around the sitter's left eyebrow (i.e. towards the right of the composition), but, apart from this, the painting presents well. The frame and glazing (and external cabinet) are in good condition. Please see additional images available on request.
