AN ENGLISH CANEWARE PART SERVICE

19th century, comprising three square plates, bearing impressed knot marks to the base, 20.5cm wide, the circular bowls, 22cm wide, one shell serving dish, 26.5cm wide, and twenty-one plates, 20cm wide (a lot)

This lot is in overall good condition. it would benefit from a good clean.

There are surface scratches and minor fritting commensurate with age and use. This does not interfere with the stability nor the aesthetics.

One round plate has a minor chip to the outer foliated edge, another to the inner foliated edge.

One round dish has a hairline crack, another with a heavily fritted base.

One rounded square plate has a chip to one foliated edge, another with a minor hairline crack on the inner well (barely visible). One has a significant repair with stapling to the underside where the plate has been broken.

The scallop dish has a stained crack which may be from production as it does not run to the underside.
