This lot is in fair condition overall with good patination. It has signs of sun bleaching and knocks to extremities commensurate with age. It is stable and fit for purpose.
The hinged top does not fit flush and there is evidence of an old repair (apparent to the top and side). There is a deep veneer crack to the other flap side which is evident beneath. The top is stable but these are clearly apparent.
There are losses to veneers and stringing and signs of shrinkage to veneers throughout.
There are losses to the beading on the sides panels.
The mirror is in tact and smooth when pulled up by the handles.
The lock has been altered within.
