Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

This lot is in good overall condition with scratching, knocks to extremities and sun bleaching.

More specifically there is a large crack on the lid which runs about two thirds of the whole length. There is also two cracks one two corners. These all run through to the underside including through the elephant plaque (will need stabilising) where one ivory roundel has also detached (there is loose inside yet present)

The lid does not fit flush and the lock does not work.

There is evidence of warping to the ivory inlays to the interiors and some losses to edges.

The doors to the compartments have warped somewhat resulting in minor losses to the ivory.
