c.1630, the hinged lid opening to an interior fitted with a small open box, the façade with an arcaded frieze over four panels carved with Roman arches, on moulded square legs, 73cm high x 148cm wide x 52cm deep

Evidence of old worm, particularly to the back and rear legs. Some surface marks and wear commensurate with age and use. Old damages and restorations, the hinges and escutcheons are later, there is a cross stretcher to the interior etc. Recently re-polished with a good colour and surface.
