Bidding ended. Lot is unsold.

This lot is in good overall condition commensurate with age and use. It has good rich patination and is sturdy and fit for use.

There are scratches throughout especially to the extremities including the sides of the pediment but these do not interfere with the aesthetics.

There is a small split to the timber (natural movement and shrinkage) to the side of the bureau section but this does not affect the stability.

There are old repairs to the swan neck pediment on both sides which have been reinforced from the back.

The baize inside the desk interior is moth eaten and there are scratches to the surface. There are missing drawers.

There are some losses to the cockbeading on drawers.

Not all the handles match.
