early 18th century, the shaped back with vase splat over shepherd's crook arms and a velvet covered drop-in seat, on cabriole front legs with squared pad feet and tapered rear legs with out-turned feet joined by stretchers, 108cm high x 66cm wide x 62cm deep (one foot detached but present)

One foot is broken and detached but present.

There are numerous old restorations and damages throughout. 

Repairs to both arms. Legs spliced and repaired. New brackets under the seat. 

Extensive worm, resulting in the loss of the aforementioned foot. 

Surface marks and scratching largely consistent with age and use. 

Seat recovered. 

Rare shape and colour.
