This lot includes six envelopes from Sorabji which contain - 

Two handwritten letters

Three typed and hand signed/monogrammed letters

Two handwritten Christmas cards 

Three hand annotated press clippings/leaflets.

All the envelopes are addressed to the same recipient - H.J. Dion Byngham Esq, whom Sorabji refers to as My dear Dion Cassius. 


The content of the letters is varied, ranging from commending Byngham on his letter to a local newspaper regarding the railway line to race relations. 

The musical scores are not signed, but the book is annotated by Sorabji.
