The text states:

Presented (with a silver tea & coffee service) to The Rev.d Joseph Barnes Vicar of Berwick upon Tweed By His Parishioners & Friends, A Token of their veneration and gratitude towards a faithful pastor, an eminently able preacher, and an unaffected upright and benevolent man, endeared to them by an uninterrupted residence of thirty five years, April 1840.


The centre has not been amended and is not thin, wobbly or erased

There are no splits to border

There is slight wobble, does not sit quite flat

The feet are not broken 

There is no solder repair present
