Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

This lot is in good overall condition commensurate with age and use.

All have slight wear to the gilding (especially around the rims to the top and bottom) and some very minor scratching.

There is some 'tarnishing' of the gilding on the seven matching cups and saucers. The colour is not as bright on some as others.

All the bases are rubbed and scratched where it has rested.

Four of the saucers have rubs to the gilding on the well and to the scallop edges where the vignettes of courtiers and flowers are edged.

One saucer has a hairline crack around the well to the centre.

One cup has a significant chip to the rim and one to the bottom lip. It is also slightly distorted in shape on the rim which curls up slightly.

One cup has some discolouration to the bottom of the handle.

The cup with Josephine has a minute scratch on the white background in one corner which is scarcely detectable.

The large white vessel has significant rubbing and losses to the gilding on the handle and rim. The saucer has significant rubbed gilding.
