The painting is generally in good condition. The painting has been relined, but not recently, and has good canvas surface tension. The picture surface is stable, with some craquelure throughout. There are some losses around the edges of the picture surface, which may date to when it was last relined and restretchered. There are some smaller abrasions to the pictures surface. The canvas bears a thin varnish layer. Both the painting and the frame would benefit from being cleaned. Please see additional images available on request.
