20th century, the cream and gilt rectangular box with canted corners, the top decorated with an idyllic scene opening to reveal a mechanical bird and audible song, 4cm high x 11cm wide x 7cm deep

The case is in far condition with minor wear and metal tarnishing consistent with age and use.
