A BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK BY F. BEATENS, LONDON

19th century, signed to the backplate 'F. Beatens, 23 Gerrard St, London', the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals within a beaded gilt metal surround, the case with two bronze figures, Cupid and Psyche, and surmounted by a burning censer, 37cm high x 38cm wide x 17cm deep

Overall in good condition. The torchière at the top is missing a leg. The figure to the left has a rear foot slightly raised and not flush the socket. There is a build-up of dirt on the rear glass door. There is some white pigmentation to the rear. The white enamel dial has concentric wear to the winding hole. Some minor discolouration throughout.
