an early 19th century handwritten musical score, the seven verses including reference to ‘The blood-stain’d sons of France’, presumably a Napoleonic allusion, with text below stating ‘This Musick….may [make] a good Military March’, the unframed page 32.5cm x 19.5cm and folded as a letter, addressed verso to ‘Ian Symes, 1 Dorset Regiment, Lewes Barracks, Sussex’ with postmark for Bridport 137, the page water marked Ployd & Co 1801
