Amongst other accomplishments, Peter Collins founded the Balcombe Galleries in the 60s and the Stanley Studios in Chelsea in the 70s, which acquired a considerable cultural pedigree and gave space to Jack Smith, Rodrigo Moynihan and Elizabeth Frink.
