Herbert Harris was a prolific commercial artist, particularly well known for his designs for advertisements and cigarette cards. He was active in the earlier twentieth century.
The picture generally presents very well. The colours are clear, vivid and well preserved, with minimal overall wear to the picture surface. There are some losses to the gilt frame. Please see additional images available on request.
