Note: the current sculpture is no. 3 from an intended run of 12, using a mould made from an earlier cast of the bust that had been in the possession of the artist. The earlier sculpture - used as the basis for the current casting - was no. 6 from an earlier run, explaining the marking to this effect on the current sculpture. Of the 12 reproductions authorised by the artist and his estate, only three have been cast so far.
