The picture bears a few issues, many of which almost certainly date to the original (unusual) compositional process. There are some consistent areas of loss around the edges of the composition, as well as some extensive (predominantly vertical) craquelure throughout. There are also some specks of dirt to the picture surface, especially to the upper right quadrant. Please see additional images available on request.
