Bidding ended. Lot is unsold.

See a similar vase of Gu shape decorated in bright enamels with 'bajixiang', offered at Christie's New York, 23-24 September 2021, lot 876. And another with an iron red ground, Christie's 7th November 2014, lot 638.

The vase appears to be in largely good condition.

There has been an historic repair to the rim, visible under UV light.

There has been historical adhesive applied to the center join. It can now be seperated.

Some expected surface wear present throughout and to the foot, commensurate with age.
