A CHINESE PORCELAIN CELADON HU VASE

bearing a six character Chenghua mark to the base however probably Kangxi period, with a flared rim over a pear shaped body with two gilded lions head ring handles, the body finely carved with dynamic chilong against a ground of abundant foliage and lingzhi, a band of plantain leaves above, 38cm high

Damaged and restored. A repaired crack running through the body and a restored rim. 

Further glaze cracks/crazing evident. Small firing faults visible. Surface wear and scratching, consistent with age, damage and useage. Wear to the foot.
