18th century, decorated throughout with the crest and motto of Clan Bannatyne, the borders with landscape vignettes en grisaille, comprising a tureen and cover, with pomegranate finial and animal head handles, 22cm high; two large octagonal serving platters, 42.5cm wide; five 33.5cm wide; and five, 29.5cm wide; two large circular serving dishes, 35.5cm and 32.5cm diameter; twenty one plates, 23cm diameter;

two bowls, 23cm diameter; a large serving bowl, 10cm high x 28cm diameter; a sauceboat, 21.5cm wide; and three large mugs, 16cm, 14.5cm and 13.5cm high; with a later ironstone square tureen and cover (a lot)

Provenance: Donald Bannatyne (1805-1863) and Janet Boyle (1814-1887) and thence by family descent. 

Damages and restorations throughout. With surface marks, chips and scratches, wear to the decoration, firing faults and tarnishing.

The sauce boat is restored. 

Two of the mugs are cracked and restored. 

There are chips and cracks to the octagonal servers, one has a stapled repair. 

The are at least seven restorations to the plates. 

One small bowl restored.

Both circular serving bowls restored. 

The big bowl restored. 

The tureen handle is restored, it is chipped.
