bearing a six character Daoguang seal mark to the base, the yellow ground decorated with four character marks set against pink, with stylised lotus flowers and leafy tendrils abundant, 5.5cm high x 11cm diameter

Fori Changming can be translated to 'The Light of Buddha Shines Eternally'. For comparable bowls of this design with Qianlong marks see Sotheby's, New York, 21 March 2018, lot 669; Christie's, Christie's Hong Kong, 3rd November 1998, lot 967; and one from the British Rail Pension Fund, sold Sotheby's London, 13th November 1972, lot 180. 

In largely good condition throughout. Some minor wear, light scratching and rubbing to the decoration. Some minor firing faults, including areas of crazing. Wear to the foot rim.
