20th century, modelled naturistically as a bamboo section and carved in relief with a phoenix perched in a bamboo tree, 13.5cm high x 4.5cm wide
A few small chips throughout, including to the foot and the decoration. Some further light surface scratching and wear commensurate with age and use.
