the base bearing a six character Xuande mark, Qing dynasty, the pierced and domed top decorated with a recumbent beast, the twin handles in the forms of dragons, each of the side panels decorated in relief with an abundance of mythical beasts in seas and sky, on four clawed legs issuing from beast head terminals, 38cm high x 29cm wide x 18cm deep, weight c.10kg

Some tarnishing throughout to the metal. Light surface wear and scratching, predominently consistent with age and use. Some rubbing throughout and a few small knocks/dents.
