A FINE JAPANESE LACQUER THREE-CASE INRO

inscribed in gilt to the base, decorated in gilt and inset with mother of pearl, on one side with two bats in flight, the reverse with a landscape, inscribed 'Tsuchida Soetsu', 8cm high, complete with a square section ojime, finely carved with a figure, and a signed manju form netsuke, decorated with various insects, possibly inscribed 'Toyo', 3.5cm diameter

The inro appears to be in fair condition considering age. There are some disruptions to the surface layer - small splits and losses to the lacquer. Some abrasions and splits are present to the interior rims.
