Late Edo or Meiji period, inlaid with mother of pearl and silvered metal and decorated with sea shells to both sides, 8cm high x 6cm wide

The inro appears to be in good order. One can observe the expected surface wear throughout commensurate with age. There are small abrasions to the edges to some corners and to the interior rims although this is in line with use. There are some scratches to the inlaid decoration.
