There are signs of historic woodworm to the back on one panel but this is no longer live.

The drawers run smoothly and the frame is robust with no movement.

The satinwood is a veneer to chest of drawers.

There are scratches to the top and some minor staining commensurate with use and age.

There are minor losses to veneers to the extremities, with one corner to the top in particular and to two corners on the plinth base,

Non of the above detracts from the aesthetics nor the stability of the chest.
