This lot is in good overall condition with lovely patination. It is stable and fit for purpose.
The top has an old repair in the left hand upper corner and some of the beaded edge is absent for about two thirds of the width (the missing section is in the top drawer). It has deep scratches, veneer splits and shrinkage and staining.
The drawers all run smoothly. The handles have been replaced and the lock to the top drawer removed.
There has been a repair to one leg and to the plinth on which is rests but this is historic and does not affect stability.
At the back there is a hole but this appears to be where the knot of the wood has fallen out and left a natural gap
