The painting bears some issues. It is unframed. The picture surface is generally stable, but there is very prominent craquelure throughout, as well as a prominent horizontal crack towards the top of the picture surface, where the stretcher shows through. There is an additional prominent, vertical line towards the right quadrant. There is a hole and accompanying area of restoration towards the upper left of the picture surface, with an accompanying section of tape to the reverse of the canvas. UV light examination reveals potential in-painting towards the lower centre of the picture surface. The painting would benefit from restoration. Please see additional images available on request.
