A FINE INLAID 'ULA' THROWING CLUB, FIJI ISLANDS, the multi lobed wooden head in reddish brown wood, inlaid in bone with a number of star and crescent moon motifs, the handle/grip carved in a (New Zealand) Maori style with alternate bands and seeds, possibly the work of a Maori carver working in Fiji, 19th century, 43.5cm long
