PAIR OF VICTORIAN SILVER GILT FOUR-LIGHT CANDELABRA, one by Hunt & Roskell, London 1867, one by Alfred Benson and Henry Hugh Webb, London 1890, on triangular pedestal bases with scroll feet, acanthus leaves and three cartouches engraved with crests, the bases surmounted by putto holding a bunch of grapes, the central sections formed as grape vines, issuing three branches and one central, with urn-shaped capitals and detachable upper sections, 68cm high (c.362oz) Provenance: Christies New York, Important English, Continental and American Silver, 22nd May 2008, lot, 127.
