GEORGE III SILVER SOUP TUREEN AND COVER with four sauce tureens ensuite, by John Wakelin & William Taylor, London 1779, of oval form with a reeded scroll handle (possibly a replacement), domed pull-off covers, with floral finials, beaded borders and reeded friezes, above part-fluted lower sections, on rectangular bases, crested, the undersides of each with scratch weight and number, the soup tureen 34cm high, 43cm long (c.234oz)
