LARGE GEORGE II SILVER SALVER by William Cripps, London 1748, of shaped circular form, the raised cast border pierced with vine leaves and grapes interspersed with masks, the centre engraved with an armorial, surrounded by later chased foliate scroll decoration, the whole on pierced downcurving feet, the underside engraved with a scratch weight, 56cm dia.
