•ANTONY DUFORT (B.1948) MARGARET THATCHER, PRIME MINISTER (1979-1990), bronze, signed Dufort and inscribed Antony Dufort, 1/9,49cm high. This bronze is an exact copy of the maquette made by Dufort for the larger 7ft 3 in figure of Lady Thatcher which is in the House of Commons. It is widely known that the maquette sold at a Conservative party charity event for in excess of £200,000. This example is from an intended edition of 9, although the Artist has stated that this lot is the only one created to date
