Type B set with imitation diamonds engraved IMIT on the reverse of the wreath and maker Marked RS ( R. Stubiger Wien VI), with pre Second World War Austrian silver hallmarks. Multi-piece construction, the eagle is held in place with rivets. The badge is housed in its original deluxe case with miniature stick pin example. The case and stick pin are both exceedingly rare. To find a complete set is almost unheard of. The Type A sets were awarded at the same time and usually kept safely at home. Type B sets were worn on active duty. Only 50 known examples exist today.
