CLOISONNE ENAMEL ARCHAISTIC 'WHEELED' PHOENIX-FORM VASE, ZUN, QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY, modelled as a phoenix perched on an axle between two spoked cart wheels, the body is decorated with archaistic scrolls and with scales, the wings further archaic scroll decoration, a taotie mask on its breast, the trumpet vase rising from the beasts back decorated with lion dogs, scrolls and lotus flowers, 34cm high
