GREAT WAR AND TERRITORIAL GROUP to 7-1393 Pte J Young North'D Fus / Hussars James Young was a native of Alnwick in Northumberland. A member of the 7th battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, he landed in France on 21st April 1915, serving as a member of 'A' Company. Renumbered 290176, Young joined the Northumberland Hussars in 1922, giving his trade as Fireman. Finally discharged on 1st March 1940. WW2 war medal for service on the home front.
